How the Performance Feature Works
Centralize Performance Data
When planning, it’s important to have a clear understanding of how your past marketing efforts have performed so you can use the insights gleaned to strategically optimize your plans going forward.
Performance data gathered and analyzed by marketers typically lives in dashboard tools and PDFs of reports that are published and reviewed monthly. With Annum’s Performance feature, you can pull the data, analysis, insights, and optimization recommendations right in to your integrated planning hub so they are at hand to inform all planning decisions.
Annum’s Performance feature was designed for embedding data sources. When you embed a PDF you are able to view and scroll through it right in Annum. When you use HTML code to embed a data source such as a Looker Studio dashboard or a Google Slide deck you are pulling that source in as a live feed. Any updates to the source are made in real time. Also, for dynamic dashboards, you are able to interact with the data in Annum.

Activate Performance Feature
The Performance feature must be turned on by an Admin in order to be accessible.
Instructions for Admins:
The Performance view will now show up as an option in your calendar.
Embed Dashboards & Reports
Only Admins can embed data sources. Instructions for Admins:
For categories, we recommend “Dashboards” for dynamic realtime feeds of performance data and “Reports” for monthly or quarterly summaries of analytics, insights, and optimization plans.
Copying the Embed Code From Your Data Source
Below you will find instructions for copying the embed code from data sources we have found to be popular with our customers. Any data source that offers the ability to embed their reports will work.

Looker Studio
In the Looker Studio report you wish to embed:
- Click “Edit and Share” in the top right of the tool bar
- Click “File” in the top right of the tool bar
- Click “Embed Report” in the drop down menu
- Check the “Enable embedding” box and click “Done”
- Click “Copy to Clipboard” to copy the shown embed code
Paste the code into the HTML Embed Code box in Annum:
- PC: press Control & V keys
- Mac: press Command & V keys
Google Slides
In the Google Slides deck you wish to embed:
- Click “File” in the top left of the tool bar
- Hover over “Share” in the drop down menu
- Click on “Publish to the web”
- Select “Embed”
- Click in the box showing the embed code
- Copy the code:
- PC: press Control & C keys
- Mac: press Command & C keys
Paste the code into the HTML Embed Code box in Annum:
- PC: press Control & V keys
- Mac: press Command & V keys
Establishing the Optimal Viewing Size of Your Data Source
The size of the viewable data source is determined by the width and height settings in the embed code. You can adjust these measurements by modifying them right in the embed code you pasted into Annum. We recommended the following settings: width = 960, height = 569 for working off a standard laptop. Adjusted up or down to fit your specific screen size.

With Annum's Performance feature, you can pull the data, analysis, insights, and optimization recommendations right in to your integrated planning hub so they are at hand to inform all planning decisions.
The Performance feature must be turned on and data sources must be embedded by an Admin in order to be visible in the Performance view. You can see who your Admins are under Plan Settings / Team in the Annum app.
